Parallon is the administrative support platform for HCA Healthcare, providing full-service revenue cycle, contact center, and clinical and administrative services. We provide end-to-end management of the healthcare revenue cycle, ultimately achieving total patient account resolution for HCA Healthcare — across multiple provider types (hospitals, FSEDs, physicians, UCCs and specialty services). In addition, we support HCA Healthcare patients and colleagues with contact center functions to ensure more timely and efficient connection to services. We also deliver clinical and administrative services to the HCA Healthcare enterprise to harness the power of shared services in clinical spaces. Note: Parallon also serves external clients, from full-service revenue cycle management functions (excluding HIM, credentialing and physician billing services) to point solutions for specific revenue cycle needs. Parallon has approximately 18,000 colleagues and serves roughly 500 hospitals and 1,900 physician practices.

Today, we are proud to announce that the HCA Healthcare Foundation will give $2 million to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee to support the development of their new Grow for Good campus in our hometown of Nashville, Tennessee.

Second Harvest is the largest hunger relief organization in Tennessee, serving 46 counties throughout the state. HCA Healthcare and the HCA Healthcare Foundation have supported Second Harvest for more than 25 years, including helping launch the organization's School Food Pantry Program, which now provides consistent access to food for students and families directly at schools. The collaboration also includes hosting monthly Mobile Markets at HCA Healthcare's TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center to address food insecurity in the community and supporting a pilot of the Food Is Medicine intervention program, which integrates nutritious food directly into healthcare to help patients experiencing food insecurity receive medically supportive foods alongside their care.

At HCA Healthcare, nurses are the cornerstone of our mission to care for and improve human life. On the heels of Vietnam Veterans Day, we’re honored to spotlight Marian Bach — a longtime HCA Healthcare nurse leader and retired U.S. Air Force Major who served in Vietnam.

Marian began her career in the military in the 1970s, becoming one of the earliest graduates from the Air Force’s nurse practitioner program. After retiring with 20 years of service, she brought her hands-on leadership and clinical expertise to HCA Healthcare.

In 1992, Marian began serving HCA Healthcare patients, families and colleagues at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital before transitioning to HCA Florida Twin Cities Hospital, where she continues to make a lasting impact. During her 33-year HCA Healthcare career, she has helped expand women’s and children’s services and mentor countless nurses.

While recently stepping down from her nursing director role, Marian isn’t stepping away from care. “Being a nurse has meant a lot,” she shared. Marian is transitioning to a PRN house supervisor role where she will have the opportunity to support her fellow colleagues on overnight shifts and also teach classes.

Please join us in celebrating Marian’s remarkable legacy and thanking her for her military service. Learn more about Marian’s career journey: https://bit.ly/4bOWUsz.

A box of donuts might seem like a small thank you — until you know the story behind it. 🍩

During an HCA Healthcare Leadership Institute session, Dr. Andy Moore, a division chief medical officer and orthopedic surgeon in HCA Houston Healthcare, noticed a small lump in human resources colleague Meghan Schneider’s neck — something she hadn’t seen herself. That quick observation led to an early thyroid cancer diagnosis.

Meghan later underwent surgery at HCA Healthcare’s TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee to remove the tumor. Throughout her journey, Dr. Moore stayed closely connected, checking in and offering guidance every step of the way.

When Meghan asked how she could repay him, Dr. Moore joked, “Buy me a donut.” Before the year was out, she did.

“Even the smallest observation can make a life-changing difference, which is why routine exams, listening to patients and staying present in every interaction matter so much,” Dr. Moore shared. “Ask yourself this: Have I been delaying a colonoscopy, skin check or other recommended testing? If the answer is yes, today is the day to get that scheduled. Doctor’s orders!”

This Physicians Week, we’re recognizing the physicians who live our mission every day – delivering exceptional care and making a difference in the lives of others. Learn more about Meghan’s story and the importance of early detection: https://bit.ly/4lWtvRZ.

We believe in doing what is right for our patients. This belief shapes every interaction throughout our network as we deliver high-quality care one patient at a time – while also extending this support to our colleagues and the communities we serve. That’s why we’re honored to share that HCA Healthcare has been recognized as one of the 2026 World’s Most Ethical Companies® by Ethisphere for our commitment to ethical business practices, transparency and fostering a culture of integrity. HCA Healthcare has now been recognized on the list 16 times and is one of only four honorees in the Healthcare Providers category this year.

“It is an honor to once again be named a World’s Most Ethical Companies® honoree,” said Wendy Warren, senior vice president and chief ethics and compliance officer for HCA Healthcare. “This recognition reflects our colleagues’ commitment across the organization to upholding high standards, making value-driven decisions and doing business the right way, every day.”
