Recently, TriStar Health, part of the HCA Healthcare family, announced a $150,000 donation to support Middle Tennesseans impacted by Winter Storm Fern. These funds will provide direct assistance to affected individuals and strengthen community organizations leading cleanup, volunteer coordination and recovery efforts.

The donation will be distributed to trusted local partners serving impacted communities:

🔹$100,000 to United Way of Greater Nashville Winter Storm Recovery Fund to support direct financial assistance for housing, utilities, food loss and urgent needs
🔹$25,000 to Hands On Nashville to activate volunteers across affected areas, including HCA Healthcare and TriStar Health colleagues
🔹$25,000 to The Branch of Nashville, a family resource center and food bank serving Middle Tennessee

We're also proud to support colleagues facing hardship through the HCA Healthcare Hope Fund, a colleague-run, colleague-supported 501(c)(3) that has provided more than $100 million in relief since its inception. Following Winter Storm Fern, the Hope Fund has provided emergency grants to 113 TriStar Health and HCA Healthcare colleagues in Middle Tennessee. In total, the Hope Fund has assisted colleagues with more than $54,000 for essential needs such as food assistance, temporary housing and other urgent expenses so far.

These are part of the 44 HCA Healthcare hospitals recognized on Healthgrades’ America’s 250 Best Hospitals list for 2026. Determined exclusively by patient outcomes, this award celebrates the top 5% of hospitals in the country for clinical excellence.

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina (Mission Health), HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge in Lone Tree, Colorado and HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in Miami, Florida are the hospitals named on America’s 50 Best Hospitals list, putting them in the top 1% in the nation for consistent clinical excellence. This is Mission Hospital’s 11th consecutive year on the list.
