Today was a meaningful day for Tiger Den Group as current TSU Football student-athletes visited Ivanetta Early Learning Center to help encourage young students around the importance of literacy.
At Tiger Den Group, we believe supporting our community means showing up where impact starts early. Reading on grade level by the third and fourth grade is one of the most important milestones in a child’s development. When students fall behind in reading, the challenge can stretch far beyond the classroom — affecting confidence, learning in other subjects, and long-term opportunity.
That is why today mattered.
We were proud to see our TSU Football student-athletes pour into these young learners, helping make reading feel exciting, important, and possible.
It was especially meaningful to serve at a school named after Ivanetta Davis, a respected educator and the wife of former Tennessee State University President Walter S. Davis.
