Meet Barbara Krebbs, our Evening Receptionist, who has been brightening our halls for over two and a half years! 💙 Barbara loves being there for our residents, helping create a warm, “home-like” feeling every day. She also values the teamwork at Brown County Health & Living, noticing the extra effort everyone puts in to bring smiles to residents and coworkers alike.

When she’s not caring for others, Barbara enjoys spending time with her two sons, getting outdoors, and showing off her creative side through art and decorating. Thank you, Barbara, for all that you do to make our community feel like home!

“I chose Brown County Health and Living because it’s right in my backyard, and I had previously been here for rehab after a hip replacement. I’ve had such positive experiences that I even volunteer here!

I enjoy staying active with bingo, crafts, and listening to music. Meals in the dining room are a highlight too, especially the desserts!

What I love most about Brown County is the small-town, close-knit community feel. The staff here truly go above and beyond, Rebecca, Bev, and Beth in therapy; Moe and Jamie from nursing; Barbara and Jess at the front desk; and Althea and Beth in activities all made my time here special.

My advice to anyone considering Brown County? Make the most of the activities and join us in the dining room. You’ll meet people, make friends, and have a completely different experience, you might even stay friends for life, like I have!”
