If you’re interested in getting an eye thread lift, Dr. Biesman is NOT your guy. 🙅‍♂️

The procedure, which works by inserting small hooks beneath the skin to lift and reposition tissue, has been trending for a while. In theory, he can understand why it sounds promising—but in practice, the tissue around the eyes is far too delicate to tolerate it in some cases, and the risk of complications is too high.

Dr. Biesman has built his career on understanding the precise anatomy of the eye area, and he only recommends procedures that are proven safe and effective. When you meet with him for an eye rejuvenation consultation, you can feel confident that every recommendation you receive is grounded in decades of specialized expertise, not whatever happens to be popular on TikTok.

The best injectable results rarely come from using just one product or focusing on just one area. We pride ourselves on putting together thoughtful, personalized treatment plans that take into account the full picture.

This patient received Xeomin® in the DAO and masseter muscles to sharpen and define the contour of the jawline, plus Sculptra® in the lateral cheek and midface to restore volume and soften the folds around her mouth. With a biostimulator like Sculptra®, collagen builds gradually in the months after treatment, so the results tend to look more natural over time.

Now through April 30, when you complete an injectable consultation and neuromodulator treatment plan, you'll receive $200 off a personalized filler treatment plan. Restrictions apply.

Weight-loss medications like Ozempic and Mounjaro have changed the aesthetic landscape, and we’re seeing the effects every day in our practice.

In this episode of Let’s Talk Biesman Beauty, Dr. Biesman and Molly Katz, RN, discuss whether it’s always obvious to the expert eye when a person’s sudden, dramatic weight loss is due to GLP-1 drugs.

Stay tuned as we roll out more from this series over the next few months!

This patient saw an absolutely incredible result after upper and lower blepharoplasty combined with ptosis repair.

Eyelid ptosis is something Dr. Biesman sees all the time. It’s the result of one or both of the small muscles that lift the upper eyelid weakening over time (he compares it to a window shade that won't open all the way), which can make the eyes look smaller, heavier, or asymmetrical. Combining ptosis repair with upper and lower blepharoplasty addresses everything at once—the muscle, the excess skin, and the under-eye puffiness—for the most impactful rejuvenation.

Eyelid surgery requires a deep understanding of the delicate anatomy, and Dr. Biesman is a nationally recognized oculofacial plastic surgeon in Nashville, TN, who has specialized exclusively in eyelid and facial aesthetic surgery for 30+ years. If you’re considering one of these procedures, call our office today to schedule your consultation!

Last week, Dr. Biesman was named Legacy Leader by at the 2026 Reunion of Champions, held at the Denver Aquarium. This annual fundraising event brings together leaders in dermatology and laser medicine to support research and care for patients and families affected by Sturge-Weber syndrome, a rare condition characterized by abnormal blood vessel development in the brain, eyes, and skin.

The Legacy Leader recognition is for individuals who have made a lasting impact as clinicians, innovators, and advocates. The evening included a playful roast by three of Dr. Biesman’s close friends and colleagues—thank you to , , and for the unforgettable tribute.

Dr. Biesman is grateful to be part of this community and to support the Foundation’s mission.

Ultrasound has been a game-changer in how we approach injectables, raising the bar for patient safety and outcomes in our practice.

You can’t see blood vessels or altered anatomy just by looking at the skin’s surface, and guessing is what gets injectors into trouble. Ultrasound allows us to visualize what’s below the skin, map out blood vessels before we inject, and guide the precise placement of filler or filler-dissolving agents. Having this technology is just one of the reasons patients trust us with complex cases and high-risk areas.

If you’re considering filler, make sure you’re in expert hands. Now through April 30, when you complete a neuromodulator treatment plan, you’ll receive $200 toward a personalized filler plan.

This before-and-after is a great example of why surgical planning matters and why the best results often come from thoughtfully combining procedures.

This patient had excess skin on her upper lids, fullness under her eyes, and eyebrows that had gradually descended over time. If Dr. Biesman had treated only one of those concerns, the result would have felt incomplete or out of balance. By combining an upper and lower blepharoplasty with an endoscopic brow lift, he was able to rejuvenate the entire eye area so it’s brighter, more open, and naturally youthful.

Our goal is always to deliver the most cohesive outcome possible, even if that means recommending a more comprehensive approach than patients initially expected. If you’re considering surgery, schedule a consultation and let’s talk through all your options.

Trust the provider who’s willing to say no 👏

Oftentimes, the most important part of a consultation is the conversation about what NOT to do. If a treatment won’t enhance your appearance, won’t age well, or simply isn’t something we want to attach our reputation to, we’ll always tell you.

At our practice, your long-term results and safety come first. Choosing us means you get personalized care, smart judgment calls, and the confidence of knowing you’re in experienced hands with Dr. Biesman, Molly Katz, RN, and the rest of our team.

When there’s volume loss or hollowing around the superior sulcus—the groove beneath the brow bone—it creates shadowing that can make the eyes look tired or sunken. Instead of adding fullness to the lid itself, Dr. Biesman injects filler strategically along the orbital rim, which softens the contour without puffiness or heaviness.

Superior sulcus filler requires deep knowledge of anatomy and precise technique. In experienced hands, no one should be able to pinpoint what was done—this patient’s upper eyelids simply look more youthful and refreshed.

Right now, we’re offering the Injectable Advantage promotion: When you complete an injectable consultation and neuromodulator treatment by April 30, you’ll receive $200 off a personalized filler plan.

Not every new patient comes to us at the beginning of their aesthetic journey. Many find us because they need help correcting the results of a procedure that didn’t go as expected with another provider.

Our patient Johnna had under-eye filler placed years ago that left persistent swelling under one eye. She tried a variety of other treatments to fix the issue, including dissolving it and getting a lower blepharoplasty, but nothing fully corrected the swelling. During her consultation with Dr. Biesman, he used ultrasound to evaluate the area and confirmed that residual filler was still present—and with careful ultrasound guidance and precise dissolving technique, he was able to get rid of the filler and significantly smooth her undereye area.

Whether you’re starting fresh or looking to correct previous work, expertise and experience makes all the difference. No one knows eyes better than Dr. Biesman, a leading oculofacial plastic surgeon with 30+ years of experience. Call our office to book your consultation today!

We always tell it like it is when you’re in our chair. And those “hard truths”—like “you don’t need more lip filler” or “that cream won’t erase wrinkles”—come from wanting you to look your best without wasting time or money.
