For survivors, the path forward isn't just physical - it's emotional, mental, and deeply personal. Healing looks different for everyone, and it shouldn't start in an ER.

Our Crisis Services meet inidivduals where they are — helping individuals rebuild daily functioning, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with life on their own terms.

And if you need someone right now, our crisis services are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for walk-ins. No appointment. No waiting. Just care.

You deserve support that sees the whole you. We're here whenever you're ready.

Our Antioch CM team took their commitment to the community beyond our walls!

They partnered with The Branch of Nashville, an organization dedicated to nourishing, educating, and equipping neighbors so that everyone has what they need to thrive spiritually, emotionally, and materially.

Together, the team cleaned, organized, packed, and prepared over 200 food boxes for distribution to the community.

Meeting people where they are means showing up in every way that matters.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our partners from The Store to MHC for a tour of what we do and how we do it.

From our services to the faces behind the mission, it was a chance to show The Store the heart of MHC, and to deepen a partnership that we believe will create real, lasting change for the people we both serve.

When whole-person care meets community-rooted resources, everybody wins. Mental health, addiction recovery, primary care, AND access to food.

We're grateful for this partnership and excited for what's ahead.

100 days. 1,035 responses. And lives like Mark's, changed for the better.

MHC and Nashville Fire Department are proud to celebrate the first 100 days of 24-hour REACH (Responders Engaged And Committed to Helping) - a program that pairs mental health counselors with fire and EMS so our community gets the right care at the right time.

Here's what 100 days of round-the-clock coverage looks like:

- 1,035 total REACH responses — a 136% increase from last year
- 66% of callers diverted from the ER into mental health treatment
- 88% medic diversion rate, freeing EMS for other emergencies

And behind every number is a person. Someone like Mark, who had nowhere to turn during a mental health crisis except 911. Through REACH, he was connected to real support - a working phone, an ID, a bus pass, and the care he actually needed.

When a team crushes their goals all month long, you celebrate accordingly!🎳

The Antioch office had an incredible February - showing up for their consumers, for each other, and for the mission that drives everything we do at MHC.

Shoutout to the team that makes it happen every single day: Emily Martinez, Osiris Garcia, Ashraf Labib, Caroline Matthews, Mariam Romaniy, Fabiola Romero, Montse Zavala Madrigal, Fatima Sy Gueye, & Jasmine Alford

This is what whole-person care looks like from the inside: a team that works hard, lifts each other up, and still finds time for a strike or two (and maybe a gutter ball).

Behind every individual and family who finds their way to better, there's a team that made it possible.

These 7 women show up with purpose, lead with compassion, and refuse to stop until the people we serve have what they need to truly heal:

Kenya Adams, Kendall Elsass, Brittany Greene, Melanie Mummert, Ruth Vanbergen, Kate Westergard, & Cherelle Williams

Mental health. Addiction. Primary care. Support for life's basics. They champion it all - because they believe, like we do, that everyone deserves care that treats the whole person.

During Women’s History Month, we recognize the women across Mental Health Cooperative who support individuals, families, and communities every day.

From crisis response and clinical care to leadership and community outreach, their work helps ensure that people experiencing mental health challenges receive compassionate, accessible support.

We’re grateful for the women who help make this work possible. 💙

The future of social work starts with connection.

Andrea Pabon-Alicea, Sophia Recrosio, Aarionna Williams, & Rylie Goodridge from the MHC Clarksville Adult Care Team recently participated in Social Work Day at Austin Peay State University, by connecting with students and local organizations.

Events like this help open doors for future internships and careers in behavioral health while strengthening partnerships across our community to better support the people we serve!

Joby Seitz, Sheri Lozier-Bentley, Randell Buckley, and Brittany Greene were honored to help accept the Program Award for the Behavioral Care Center (BCC) through the NAMI Well Within Awards.

The BCC, located within the Davidson County Downtown Detention Center, was established under the leadership of Sheriff Daron Hall with a clear goal: help decriminalize mental illness by providing residential treatment and coordinated post-release care.

From day one, MHC has supported BCC’s mental health services, advancing treatment and dignity instead of incarceration.

The Eastern Region had its own Super Bowl - and Manchester showed up ready to win! 100% seen. And 100% seen by each team member. That means every consumer was checked on, supported, and cared for. No one was missed.

We’re proud of the momentum building across our East Region trailblazers, and Manchester continues to raise the bar.

To celebrate the win, they hosted a bowling outing (swipe for photos!) to recognize their hard work and commitment. When every consumer matters, every touchpoint counts.

Let's congratulate: Cheryl Johnson (FA), Jennifer Swann (Sup), Maisie Diseker, Deven Cushing, Rachael Phillips & Taylor Chandler.

In 2022–2023, 19% of Black youth received mental health care, compared to 22–25% overall - a gap driven by barriers to access and trust.

We acknowledge both the resilience of Black communities and the work still ahead to make care more equitable. Access should not depend on race.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, help is available 24/7. Call 615-726-0125.
