There is a lot of research on the health benefits of grounding, first sunlight exposure, heat therapy (hot tub for us, sauna someday soon), and cold plunging. We are planning to build a tiny sauna to go with our tiny house and my tiny studio. Im considering a wood burning stove for 2 reasons: less electricity usage and I like it. What are your thoughts on the types of heat in saunas?

Not only is body work part of your appointment... but enjoying the garden can be as well! Take your shoes off, chill out, hang in the hammock, grab the binoculars... enjoy how nature can help reset your mind. We have a tiny piece of property right here in Inglewood to share with you! The work on the inside of the studio is customized to your needs. Gardening is my hobby... massage is my lifelong dedication... come experience all of it!

A client recently asked,

"Jo, why do I sleep so well after I see you?".

Well, the short answer is,

"Massage can release 'feel good' hormones such as serotonin and oxytocin that help to relax you."

Another part of the equation is that I'm aware of the amount of pressure and amount of shear that this clients' tissue requires to tone it down. I'm also familiar with her day to day schedule and when her nervous system may need to be stimulated vs. when it may need to be relaxed.

Not only do I study and strive to help my clients move with more ease, but I hope to help them in other aspects of their health.

I encourage you to adopt these basic daily healthy habits:

*Move
*Eat well
*Get outside
*Stimulate your brain
*Have a positive mindset
*Sleep well
