Nursing Home Week ended with a bang! 🍦⭐

Our residents and staff enjoyed a special visit from the American Ice Cream Truck, serving up delicious frozen treats and plenty of smiles. To top off an unforgettable week, our residents were honored with awards and received their very own Hollywood Star in recognition of the unique joy and light they bring to our community each day.

It was the perfect ending to a week filled with fun, laughter, and cherished memories! ❤️🎬🌟

⚾🌭 Today’s Nursing Home Week theme was Field of Dreams! Our residents enjoyed a classic ballpark experience with hot dogs, popcorn, fresh lemonade, and even a fun piñata! We played baseball bingo, where residents won some fantastic prizes generously donated by Kristi from Hospice of Southern Illinois.

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, fun, and memories straight out of the ballpark! ⚾💙

Today we headed to the Wild West, True Grit style! 🤠⭐

Our residents enjoyed an unforgettable afternoon filled with live music by Dee James, who had everyone singing along and tapping their toes. 🎶🎸 We also had Kay’s Caricatures, who created one-of-a-kind portraits that brought lots of smiles and laughter! 🎨😊

It was a rootin’ tootin’ good time full of music, fun, and Western charm.🐎🌵

🎡🎠 Rydell High Carnival Day was a blast! 🎶💖

Today we stepped back into the fabulous 1950s and brought the fun of Grease to life with our very own Rydell High Carnival! Residents enjoyed delicious corndogs, chips, and snow cones while playing exciting carnival games and winning fun prizes.

There were smiles, laughter, and plenty of hand-jiving as everyone enjoyed the festive atmosphere. It was a great day full of fun, friendship, and wonderful memories! 🎟️🍧🎉

🌈✨ We kicked off Nursing Home Week in the most magical way with a wonderful Wizard of Oz day! ✨🌈

Our residents followed the Yellow Brick Road through a giant Wizard of Oz board game, enjoyed delicious ruby slipper cupcakes, and sipped on refreshing Emerald City Punch. 🧁👠💚

To make the day even more exciting, we were visited by our very own flying monkeys! 🐵🎈

Today we celebrated all of the wonderful ladies in our facility for Mother’s Day with muffins and mimosas! 💐🥂

From the love they’ve shared to the lives they’ve touched, these amazing women deserve to be honored not just today, but every day. We are so grateful for their strength, kindess, wisdom, and the beautiful memories they continue to create with us.

Wishing all mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures a very Happy Mother’s Day filled with love, joy, and appreciation. 💗
