💜💚💛 Mardi Gras at Trevecca! 💛💚💜

Today the team at Trevecca brought the energy, the color, and the culture as we celebrated Mardi Gras in style! From the beads to the bold outfits, it was all about fun, fellowship, and creating joyful moments for our residents and staff.

I absolutely love being part of a team that knows how to work hard AND celebrate together. These moments matter. We build community. We create memories. And we remind our residents that life is still full of color and celebration.

Yesterday, at Trevecca, our residents and staff came together to celebrate Black History Month in the most beautiful way! 🖤❤️💚

Everyone showed up in stunning attire representing culture, pride, and excellence — and we enjoyed some truly delicious food that brought joy and connection to the table.

Black History Month is about honoring legacy, resilience, and the powerful contributions of African Americans — and today was filled with unity, love, and celebration.

So grateful to be part of a community that celebrates culture together! ✊🏾

A special thank you to our amazing Activities Director, Glen and everyone who helped him serve and decorate!! 👏🏾 He is truly great at what he does and always goes above and beyond to create meaningful, engaging experiences for everyone. We appreciate your heart, dedication, and excellence!

Nothing like celebrating Black History Month through creativity and connection at Trevecca! 🖤❤️💚🤎

Our residents enjoyed arts and crafts as we honored the rich history, culture, and contributions of African Americans. From meaningful conversations to beautiful handmade creations, the room was filled with joy, laughter, and reflection.

We love creating moments that educate, uplift, and bring our residents together. Celebrating history while making memories — that’s what it’s all about! 🖤🤎❤️💚

This semester, Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing partnered withTrevecca Nazarene University’s Social Work Department to launch a clothing donation drive! 👕✨

All donated items have been cleaned and thoughtfully organized to help meet the clothing needs of residents at the Center. This initiative has not only strengthened the partnership between TNU and the Center, but it has also better equipped staff to serve residents with dignity and care.

Before distributing new donations, we sorted through existing donations and removed clothing with rips or permanent stains. Instead of sending these items to the landfill, we chose a sustainable solution through Blue Earth. Blue Earth collects clothing that can no longer be worn and recycles or upcycles it, helping reduce textile waste in our community.

You can find Blue Earth bins at several locations throughout Nashville — an easy and impactful way to support sustainability and keep our planet healthy! 🌎💚

Today we celebrated Chinese New Year with our residents and it was such a joyful experience! 🧧❤️

From the bright red and gold decorations to the engaging activities and smiling faces, the room was filled with warmth and celebration. We learned, we laughed, and we embraced the beauty of new beginnings together.

We love creating meaningful moments that bring culture, connection, and joy into our community. New year, fresh blessings, and grateful hearts! ✨🏮

Today we celebrated Mardi Gras in Memory Care and our residents had an amazing time! 🎭💜💚💛

Our Mardi Gras party and trivia brought out so many smiles and sweet moments. Watching them engage, answer questions, laugh, and enjoy the celebration was truly heartwarming.

It’s not just about the theme — it’s about connection, stimulation, and creating meaningful experiences that spark joy and memory. Moments like this remind me how important it is to make every day count.

Our team is so grateful to serve and celebrate with such a special group! 🎉✨

Nothing like a good morning exercise in the Activity Department at Trevecca! ☀️ Moving our bodies, lifting our spirits, and starting the day with energy and smiles!

There’s something powerful about coming together, encouraging one another, and choosing movement before anything else. Every stretch, every step, every laugh reminds us that we are still strong, still capable, and still thriving.
