Our practice is designed to meet the needs of those with trauma and relational issues in Music City and the surrounding areas. Often our culture encourages us to be strong and hide our pain and vulnerabilities. Unfortunately, when we try to mask our pain struggles they end up showing up in the form of addictions, unhealthy relationships, or other compulsive behaviors. Whether you are struggling wi
th trauma, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, addiction, or something else, you are not alone. Many times shame keeps you isolated and prevents you from reaching out. But you are not meant to face things alone. You are wired for connection. I believe that it is through connection that you begin to feel safe, seen, and heard. When this happens there is space to heal and transform from the past. Your story is important and needs to be heard by a safe, caring person. Through therapy you can integrate your struggles and difficult past experiences, so that they simply become part of your story rather than defining who you are and how you live your life. As a therapist, I do not have all the answers. I see myself as a listener and a guide, but ultimately, you are the expert on your own life. I seek to create a safe haven for you to explore your pain. I truly believe I am called to do this work and find it a gift to be able to share in people's stories each day. "Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our own light."
