As a surgeon, I am often asked if I accept local patients only. And the answer is no - many of my patients travel to see me from across the United States.

I previously practiced for nearly 20 years in California, and I continue to care for many patients who travel from California and other states for their plastic surgery procedures. Others come from all over the country after finding me through referrals or social media.📲

If you’re considering plastic surgery and traveling to Nashville, my team is experienced in coordinating care for out-of-town patients and is happy to assist with travel planning, scheduling, and pre- and post-operative guidance to make the process as smooth as possible.

✨ Mommy Makeover Series | Part 5 (Final): The Decision Guide
One of the most common questions I hear is: How do I choose the right mommy makeover procedures?

⭐️ Start with priority Most patients already know which area bothers them most after pregnancy or weight loss. That’s where we begin. Address the biggest concern first, then work down the list. Clarity comes quickly when you do it this way.

⭐️ Safety comes next Not every procedure should be done together — even if you want them all. The goal is a smooth operation, a safe recovery, and predictable results, not doing the most in one day.

⭐️ Then comes strategy Some procedures can be safely combined. Others are better staged. Separating surgeries doesn’t compromise results — it often leads to better ones.

✨ A mommy makeover isn’t about doing everything at once.

✨ It’s about doing the right things, in the right order, for you.
This wraps up our Mommy Makeover series. We’ll be diving deeper into individual procedures in upcoming posts.

✨ Mommy Makeover – Part 4: Labiaplasty & Vaginoplasty ✨

There’s one part of the mommy makeover that isn’t talked about nearly enough—
but it comes up all the time in consultations.
⭐ The l***a and the vaginal area

These concerns are incredibly common, and just as important as any other part of the mommy makeover.

✔️ Let’s start with the l***a
Changes here aren’t always related to pregnancy or weight gain.
Many women are simply born with excess l***al tissue.
⭐ Over time, that can lead to discomfort in clothing
⭐ Discomfort during exercise
⭐ Ongoing self-consciousness in everyday life

✨ Labiaplasty focuses on carefully removing excess tissue—
✔️ Sometimes limited to the l***a minora
✔️ Sometimes extending to the cl****al hood, when appropriate
The goal is comfort, balance, and feeling more at ease in your body—both in and out of clothing.
✔️ Now, the vaginal area
This is a different conversation altogether.
Vaginal changes are almost exclusively related to childbirth.
⭐ As a baby passes through the vaginal canal, the muscles at the opening can stretch and separate
⭐ This can lead to laxity and changes in function

✨ Vaginoplasty is not about removing tissue.
✔️ It’s about restoring muscle support
✔️ The muscles at the vaginal opening are carefully realigned
✔️ The goal is improved tightness, support, and function

⭐ Important distinction
✔️ Labiaplasty addresses excess tissue
✔️ Vaginoplasty restores muscle function
These procedures can be done together or separately—
always based on anatomy, goals, and what makes the most sense for each individual patient.

✨ Mommy Makeover Series — Part 3: Liposuction & Body Contouring ✨

🌟 This is Part 3 of the Mommy Makeover series, and today we’re talking about liposuction — and what it really does.

✨ Liposuction is often performed alongside a tummy tuck or breast surgery, but it doesn’t always have to be combined with anything at all.
✨ In patients with good skin tone and elasticity, liposuction can be done on its own, allowing the skin to naturally shrink down and adapt to the new contour underneath.

✨ Common areas we treat include:
⭐ The waist and back
⭐ Above and below the bra line
⭐ Inner and outer thighs
⭐ That small fat roll near the breasts/armpit that bothers many patients

✨ And while these areas are common, body contouring is always individualized — never one-size-fits-all.
✨ Here’s the part that surprises most people: liposuction isn’t just about removing fat.
⭐ Some areas actually look better when fat is added back in a very intentional way.
⭐ Hip dips and the buttocks can benefit from fat transfer to enhance curves and restore balance.
✨ At the end of the day, body contouring is about proportion.
✨ Creating a shape that feels natural, refined, and harmonious for your body.
🌟 It’s not about being smaller everywhere.
🌟 It’s about being balanced.

✨ In Part 4, we’ll talk about l***aplasty and vaginoplasty — and how they can also be part of a comprehensive mommy makeover.

Part 1 of 5 | Mommy Makeover Series

A Mommy Makeover is not one surgery—and this is where most of the confusion starts.

The abdominal portion often includes:
✔️ Removal of excess skin
✔️ Repair of muscle separation (diastasis)
✔️ Monsplasty to restore proper position and proportion
✔️ Liposuction contouring (often Lipo 360) for full waist shaping
This is why two people can both say they had a “tummy tuck” and end up with very different results.

What’s included matters.
How it’s done matters.
And understanding the details makes all the difference.

This is Part 1 of a 5-part Mommy Makeover breakdown.

Next: the breast portion—and why there’s never a one-size-fits-all approach.

2025 wasn’t about doing more.
It was about doing things better.

Smaller, smarter, more personalized choices
across body, breast, and face.

Trends fade. Good decision-making doesn’t.

12/15/2025

✨ Closure matters.

A significant part of scar quality is determined in the operating room, long before healing begins.

Layered closure, precise alignment, and minimizing tension all influence how an incision matures over time.

Same incision.
Our patient.
One year later.

Healing matters. Surgical technique sets the foundation.

12/12/2025

✨ This is the scar ✨

Most people imagine a large scar with silicone breast augmentation, but the reality is usually much smaller than they expect.

✨ Hidden in the natural breast fold
The incision sits in the crease and is designed to blend with your anatomy, healing into a fine line that’s often hard to see unless you’re intentionally looking for it.

✨ Why I show results like this
Seeing real scars one year after surgery replaces worry with clarity. When you know what to expect, confidence follows naturally.

Questions about implants, incisions, or healing? Leave them below.

12/10/2025

✨ I’ve treated thousands of plastic surgery patients. One thing is clear: great results are never random.
The patients who heal the fastest always follow these six rules:

🌟 1. Mindset
Patients who expect a smooth recovery tend to have one. Confidence and calm matter more than most people realize.

🌟 2. Support System
You can’t do this alone. Patients who have reliable help and support consistently heal faster and with far less stress.

🌟 3. Nutrition
Your body can’t rebuild tissue without the right materials. Prioritize protein, hydration, and anti-inflammatory foods.

🌟 4. Gentle Movement
Gentle movement boosts circulation, prevents stiffness, and keeps your recovery moving in the right direction.

🌟 5. Rest
Your body repairs itself while you sleep. More rest means better scars, less swelling, and a smoother recovery.

🌟 6. Trust Your Surgeon
Your results depend on following the plan. Ask questions, stay connected, and trust the process.

❤️ Whatever procedure you’re considering, these six pillars create the strongest recovery foundation.
Save this for your upcoming surgery or share with someone who needs it.
