People are already calling this pore-clogging… and I don’t agree.

I understand the concern ingredients like shea butter get labeled quickly online sometimes through generic apps. But skincare isn’t that black and white.

Formulation and concentration matter just as much as the ingredient itself.

From what I’ve seen looking into reale actives, these formulas were actually tested in blemish-prone skin and performed really well.

Curious where other dermatologists land on this do you look at individual ingredients, or the formula as a whole?

A little off-topic, but celebrating myself today for my 1000th WHOOP recovery day in a row! I set a bunch of goals every year, from health, relationships, personal, financial, and professional, and this year, some of my goals were to be consistent with cardio and sauna. My family has a history of cardiac disease and an early heart attack. Fortunately, I’ve never been a smoker. Unfortunately, I’ve never really enjoyed cardio, but I love lifting. So far this year, I’m on track with my cardio goals. My resting heart rate has decreased, and my HRV has increased. I’m doing a mix of running, the stairmaster, and the spin bike, along with the lifting I always enjoy. Stay healthy and wear your sunscreen.
