is not only a celebration of Black liberation and joy. It is a reminder of the lies that have been told to the Black community for generations to keep us in positions that we keep rising above. It is our reminder of the roses that grow from concrete despite being ‘nourished’ with lead-filled poison.
It is our reminder that, no matter what may come our way, our life is in OUR hands and hands are in each others.
We are grateful to our community partners that have been ever so faithful in walking this walk with us throughout the years.

May is Preeclampsia Awareness Month. TIPQC is thrilled to share that TennCare has announced MCO access to blood pressure cuff kits is live TODAY!

Great News, Tennessee Moms! Pregnant and postpartum TennCare members now qualify for home monitoring blood pressure cuff kits at no charge.

All that is needed is an order from an in network provider, no additional criteria except for a diagnosis of pregnancy or postpartum is needed.

If you’re pregnant or postpartum and covered by TennCare, you qualify for a FREE blood pressure cuff kit to monitor your health from home.

Hypertension is a major cause of pregnancy complications – let’s change that.
