Direct Support Professionals Association of Tennessee (DSPAT)

Direct Support Professionals Association of Tennessee (DSPAT) DSPAT is their voice. DSPAT is that organization.

Direct Support Professional or DSP is the job title of 27,000 dedicated, compassionate people in Tennessee who provide assistance and support to people with disabilities. People with intellectual and developmental disabilities are more likely to enjoy happy, fulfilled lives if they have well-trained, experienced and motivated people at their side providing stable, compatible support relationships. These Direct Support Professionals or DSPs should have access to a professional organization that will support them in the performance of their jobs, help advance their careers, and advocate on their behalf.
