Listen, this rant is NOT about you. I guarantee you that you can not reach your hand out in public without touching someone who is taking some form of GLP1. This is not to shame you, the healthcare system should be ashamed. They have created a dangerous trend AGAIN without supplying the facts. Did you know that one of the side effects I don’t mention was massive muscle loss? Did you know it can cause your bowels to stop working on their own? Are these things REALLY something you want to live with long term? I get it, it DOES help a small fraction of people with diabetes and heart conditions, but at what cost? If you could hear the heartbreak I hear everyday you might think twice. There are so many ways to take care of your body AND to embrace who you are. You are beautiful, own it.
