There’s a new tool for your recovery toolbox … Recovery Marathon.
We all know recovery is a marathon not a sprint, and the 12 Steps work when you work the steps. However, when you’re new to the 12 Steps it is hard to wrap your head around the process, and when you’ve been at it for a while, you long for the pink haze of the early days. The Recovery Marathon acts as both a primer for newbies and a booster shot for the veterans.
Here’s how it works … WATCH - MOVE - REFLECT
The 12 Steps in 12 Hours!
Realize: Watch and listen to experts teaching on the 12 Steps
Recreate: Walk, run, or peddle for 20 minutes
Reflect: Journal your personal thoughts and applications
Relax: Put your feet up for a bit
Refuel: Grab a snack and hydrate
Repeat: Cue it up for the next hour

It’s not about running a marathon, although you can do that in the 12 hours, it’s about turbocharging your recovery.
The next online RECOVERY MARATHON event is Sunday, October 20. Our presenters will all be online and you can run or walk in your own neighborhood. You can even do it with your 12 Step group!
