Meet Our New Provider: Joshua Faucett, DNP, MBA, FNP-BC, CNE

We’re thrilled to welcome Joshua Faucett, our new Nurse Practitioner specializing in Hormone Optimization & Medical Weight Loss, to the Vitality Medical Wellness Center team! 💚

Joshua is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience across neuro-oncology, internal medicine, and wellness medicine.

His clinical focus includes:
• Hormone optimization for men & women
• Thyroid support
• Metabolic and cardiovascular health
• Medically supervised weight loss

Joshua began his advanced practice career at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine, where he served as Lead APRN for a nationally recognized neuro-oncology program. His work emphasized research-driven care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and managing complex conditions.

Before entering the wellness field, Joshua was a competitive powerlifter and even holds a national military division record.
After years of prioritizing strength over health, he shifted focus to longevity — successfully losing nearly 100 pounds through hormone optimization, nutrition, and structured training.
This transformation deeply informs his approach to patient care, blending science with empathy and real-world experience.

Joshua currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Clinical Affairs at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, where he helps shape the future of advanced practice nursing.

Joshua believes that wellness requires both science and support. He partners with patients to build sustainable routines that enhance vitality, confidence, and long-term health.

Help us give Joshua a warm Vitality welcome!

Our cells naturally emit biophotons—light signals that carry vast information. In states of health, we emit a full spectrum of coherent light. Illness disrupts this, and light therapy helps reestablish it.

Infrared and red laser light pe*****te deep into tissue, influencing mitochondrial activity (e.g., cytochrome c), enzyme function, blood viscosity, and inflammation. We also have light conducting and light trasmitting substances, so by giving light directly into the vein via the blood, the light is carried to the entire body.

Every protein in the body has light receptors—targeted light can modulate hormones, neurotransmitters, and immune responses.

Modern exposures (WiFi, toxins, emotional trauma) interfere with our ability to absorb and transmit light, contributing to fatigue, hormone imbalance, immune dysfunction, and more.
PBT works by restoring light balance at the cellular level—helping the body function at its highest potential.
