Faculty Spotlight ✨

Dr. Cheri Frey is an assistant professor of dermatology at Howard University in Washington, DC, where she serves as Residency Program Director, Skin of Color Clinical Research Fellowship Director, and Director of Cosmetic Dermatology.

A graduate of Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and former Chief Resident at the University of Florida, Dr. Frey is widely recognized for her expertise in cosmeceuticals, alopecia, and pigmentary disorders. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters and is a sought-after national and international speaker.

An active leader in dermatology, Dr. Frey is the immediate past chair of the dermatology section of the National Medical Association and is involved with organizations including the AAD, ASDS, WDS, and SOCS.

We’re honored to welcome her to the SCALE faculty.
