Enjoy a Pureed, Level 4 Slider this game-day! 🍔🍻🏈
Ingredients
*16 oz. freshly cooked/browned ground beef, free of bones and gristle, drained of grease. Hot or cold.
* Extremely Thick Stock made with SimplyThick EasyMix
Directions
1. Add cooked ground beef to food processor with sharp blade and run processor for 15 seconds.
2. Open processor and inspect the contents of the processor bowl. Scrap sides and bottom of processor bowl. Remove any obviously undercooked, tough or stringy pieces.
3. Put cover on processor. Start processor and add Extremely Thick, Level 4 Stock to the processor about 1/2 oz at a time, until pureed consistency is achieved. We often found that less than 1 oz of Extremely Thick, Level 4 Stock was needed.
4. Using ~10 second intervals, process as long as necessary to eliminate all lumps. Stop the processor and scape sides after each interval of processing. Typically, 2 -3 rounds of processing and scraping will be needed.
5. Evaluate to ensure compliance with IDDSI Pureed, Level 4 requirements:
a. No Lumps and no separate water thin liquids.
b. Food sits on a mound above a dinner fork but does not drip or flow continuously through a dinner fork.
c. Easily separates and comes through the tines of a fork.
d. Holds shape on a spoon, and slides off a metal teaspoon with little left – not sticky.
6. Remove from bowl and serve immediately.
