Summer of Love Meditation Retreat
with Mikey Noechel and Andrew Chapman
July 15th - July 19th, 2026
St. Mary’s Sewanee - Sewanee, TN
Learn more and sign up: https://givebutter.com/summer26
Registration closes June 15th!

About the retreat:
In meditation, we develop an intimate awareness of the full spectrum of experience, both pleasant and painful, within the body, heart, and mind. With loving awareness, we begin to open
to the ever changing feelings, thoughts, emotions, and inner narratives that shape our lives.

So much of our ordinary life is spent trying to fit ourselves into the schedules, expectations, and
demands of the world around us. Over time, this can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and overwhelmed by pressure.

*Your registration pays for 4 nights of accommodations and 10 meals. When planning your budget, consider including a contribution of dana (generosity) for the teachers at the conclusion of the retreat.

How to not burnout when the world’s on fire

It doesn’t take much effort today to see or find suffering within our communities and the world. In a day and age when it’s so much easier and accessible to distract ourselves from our pain and the pain of others, it is more important now, than ever, to train our hearts and minds to be able to bear witness to that pain, but to also not burnout and fall into apathy because of it. During this half-day retreat, we will focus on and take time to practice two of the four meditation practices called “heart practices” to help uncover the natural tendencies of the heart which help aid us in seeing and responding to our suffering and the suffering of others.

This workshop is suitable for anyone regardless of yourmeditation experience.
There will be a one-hour break for lunch.

Sliding scale $50-$150
No one will be turned away due to inability to pay.
