🛡️ This Month’s Safety Matters Topic: Proper Lifting & Trash Handling 🛡️
As part of our monthly Safety Matters training series, we’re focusing on one of the most common causes of workplace injuries—improper lifting and trash handling. Whether you handle heavy loads daily or just occasionally, staying safe starts with awareness and good habits.

🔍 SEE IT – More team members are injured lifting or handling trash than any other task. These injuries—strains, sprains, punctures—are preventable when you recognize the risks.

🤚 OWN IT – Follow safety procedures every time. Use proper PPE, report any injuries or near misses right away, and don’t take shortcuts.

📋 FIX IT – Bend your knees, lift with your legs, never twist while holding weight, and never compact trash with your hands. When in doubt—ask for help!
