Upper Blepharoplasty Recovery: What to Expect 👁️✨

Upper blepharoplasty is a minimally invasive procedure performed under local anesthesia to remove excess skin (and sometimes fat) from the upper eyelids. Recovery is typically quick — stitches come out in 3–5 days, and many patients feel comfortable returning to work or school the next day with minimal downtime.

We recommend avoiding strenuous workouts and heavy lifting while you heal to protect your results. Swelling and mild bruising are normal, but most patients are surprised by how smooth the recovery process is.
