Research on how low-level lasers enhance wound healing!

The wound healing on control rats with diabetes was slower than on control rats without diabetes. LLLT at appropriate treatment parameters can enhance the wound healing on diabetic rats. The optimum wavelength was 633 nm, and the optimum incident dose was 10 J/cm(2) in our study.

Inflammation is your body’s normal response to injury or attack. Let’s say you cut your finger. Your immune system is immediately triggered to fight off any dangerous germs that may have entered through the cut. Or let’s say you sprained your ankle. Your immune system is immediately triggered to deal with the internal damage. White blood cells pour into the area to kill off germs and remove debris; chemical signals tell your body to activate other defenses, like making your blood clot faster. After a while, your immune system has pretty much done its job, and the inflammation gradually goes away. But what happens when you’re constantly exposed to attack just from the environment around you? From your diet? From having a chronic condition or infection? You’re inflamed all the time—your body is on fire. Inflammation is harming you from the inside out—and putting out the flames also has to happen from the inside out.

Much love, Allen Thompson! Proud of your hard work and progress 💪📈

September is and I wanted to raise awareness in a way that might help folks help themselves.
One of the best ways I’ve found to combat negative self talk is the gratitude list. Sometimes you’ve got to remind yourself how good you’ve got it.

So I decided to every day this month and showcase the people, places, & things I appreciate the most!

Today I am grateful for Dr. Charlie Kautz! He’s a chiropractor who specializes in working with music industry professionals and he also has experience healing spinal trauma like my burst I suffered a few years back.

To say I’m grateful for his care and friendship would be the understatement of the century. If you’d have told me 3 years ago I would be hanging light fixtures at during the day, then jumping up and down with a 10lb telecaster strapped to my shoulder for 3 hours at night, I wouldn’t have believed you. As far as I’m concerned, he’s a miracle worker.

Thank you Charlie! I’m beyond grateful for you!
