Celebrating 50 years of music industry success!
This week we honored MHA’s own Shelia Shipley Biddy, a trailblazer, mentor, advocate, and force of nature whose impact can be felt across generations of music leaders. From her first job as a receptionist at Monument Records to becoming the first female to lead a Nashville record label at Decca Records, Shelia helped shape the careers of artists including Alabama, George Strait, Reba McEntire, Kenny Rogers, Vince Gill, Mark Chesnutt, Gary Allan, and Lee Ann Womack among many others.
At Music Health Alliance, she built our Senior Care Program from the ground up and helped guide more than 40,000 music professionals while contributing to over $170 million in healthcare savings.
But numbers will never fully tell the story of Shelia. Her wisdom, heart, grit, humor, and love have carried this industry and this organization through countless moments that mattered most.
Thank you, Shelia, for the legacy you leave behind and the lives you changed along the way. We love you dearly and cannot wait to see what this next chapter holds. You are an ICON! ❤️
