And last but certainly not least, meet intern number 5: Thomas Peterson!

Thomas is a Nashville native and YWECC Alum! He has just completed his freshman year at Wake Forest where he is majoring in finance. Thomas is excited to come back to West End this summer to develop new relationships and to be in fellowship with others and the Lord!

Thomas’ heart for student ministry has grown so much in the last year and we are so excited God has called him to West End for the summer!

Fun Fact: When Thomas was a baby, Adam Sandler said he was cute!

Intern number 4! Meet Melissa DuBose!

Melissa grew up in Greenville, SC. She graduated from Clemson University in 2020 with a degree in Public Health Science and is currently in her first year of medical school at MUSC Greenville. (Smarty pants!!) She is so excited to explore Nashville with students and can't wait for CO!

Leah was Melissa’s small group leader when she was in middle school so come ask her for embarrassing Melissa stories!

Fun Fact: Melissa is currently training for an ultra marathon even though she's never done a full. She'll take any advice you have!

Number 3! Meet Jaden Thomley!

Jaden is originally from Dothan, AL and is going into her senior year at the University of Alabama where she's majoring in public relations with a double minor in psychology and women's studies. Jaden loves hanging out with her friends! She's excited to build relationships this summer and spend time with people! She also can’t wait for RYM Colorado, and we can’t wait for her!

Fun Fact: Her Dad has sung at the Ryman!

Intern intro number 2! Meet Amelie Gray!

Amelie is from Greenville, SC and is going into her senior year at Clemson University where she's majoring in psychology. Amelie loves the summer and is so excited about meeting and hanging out with everyone! She loves a good burger so be sure to tell her where she can get the best burger in Nashville!

Fun Fact: Amelie once made it through a whole mission trip in high school only drinking Mountain Dew!

Summer introduction number 1!! Meet Parker Mixon!

Parker is originally from Birmingham, AL. He just graduated from Auburn University and is planning to attend grad school in the fall at Auburn for counseling. Parker can't wait to live in a new place for the summer, meet new people, and be able to engage with students and staff at West End in a personal way!

Fun Fact: Parker is really good at lip sync battles, and he loves basketball because 🏀
