More than 30 women took an important step toward better heart health Tuesday at the Adventure Science Center in Nashville, during our recent Women’s Heart Screening event. 💜

Ascension Saint Thomas Women's Heart Program is committed to helping women take charge of their heart health, and this event marked another milestone in our larger goal to complete 2,030 screenings by 2030 across Middle Tennessee.

During the event, participants received:
• Blood pressure checks
• BMI measurements
• 12-lead EKGs
• One-on-one time with a heart specialist

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death for women, and early detection can save lives. By expanding access to screenings, we are helping women live longer, healthier lives.

This is just the beginning. Together, we are building a healthier future for women across Middle Tennessee.

Today, our team showed up in full force at the Go Red for Women luncheon in support of the American Heart Association. We’re especially proud of Robyn Morrissey for serving as this year’s Go Red for Women Chair and Mandy Banks for being recognized as a Woman of Impact—both incredible examples of leadership and heart in action.

From raising awareness to helping fund lifesaving initiatives, it was an inspiring day alongside so many passionate advocates. Together, we’re committed to improving heart health!

In support of their mission to nourish and empower individuals, our team packed an incredible 8,251 pounds of food which is equal to 6,875 meals! 🎉

After years of heart complications, Hillary received a life-saving transplant at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West. This past weekend, he honored his donor, Maiya, by living fully and giving back through the American Heart Association Rutherford Heart Walk. 💙

We are deeply grateful to Hillary for sharing his journey, and we honor Maiya and her family for their gift of life. ♥️
