From student shadowing the halls of Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center to serving families as a board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Ashley Woods is a powerful example of what’s possible when we invest in future healthcare leaders.

Programs like the The Tennessee Area Health Education Center Scholars Program (AHEC) provide mentorship, hands-on experience, and support that help students grow into providers who give back to their communities.
