🌈P.R.I.D.E.
The 2025 Pride in Business Awards. A night to bring our LGBTQIA2S+ community along with allies, together to celebrate and honor ALL the work that is being done in our community, and for our community. A night of joy and celebration of our collective impact in our community!
I am so very thankful for the QPOC clients who found me before I found myself. I am thankful for the LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC clinicians who bravely and whole heartedly trusted and I when we decided to create Nashville’s first QPOC founded and centered group therapy practice . I am so incredibly thankful for the community who has walked alongside us, guided us, and supported us in our unwavering mission to create systemic change in mental health for black, brown and q***r folks through our non profit (which was also nominated in the Nonprofit of the Year category 🤯). 📸These photos were taken by a wonderful human who also received an award that night🙌🏾
On a personal note: Growing up I wanted to be an actress.I would stand in the mirror and pretend I was at the Academy Awards, and OMG I won an Oscar, then I would give the most dramatic acceptance speech of all time. This might be as close as an Oscar acceptance speech as I get and I COULDN’T be more proud🌈
