Digital Accessibility Tip!

LSDHH likes to share digital accessibility tips to help make information more accessible for everyone.

When writing hashtags, capitalize the first letter of each word. For example: instead of .

This can help screen readers identify each word correctly and improves readability for everyone, including people with dyslexia.

Small changes like this help create a more inclusive digital space for our community.

Sign of the Week!

Today we’re learning how to sign “Archives", taught by one of the amazing NPL Staff !

Video Description: A woman wearing a solid red long-sleeve V-neck shirt, with her hair pulled back, signs “Archives” in ASL against a dark green background. The LSDHH and Nashville logos appear in the top right corner. The word “Archives” appears in white text to her left.

To sign "Archives," make a fist with your non-dominant hand, then tap the back of it twice with your dominant hand formed into a "V" shape.
