….not to mention it's been more than a decade since I’ve been drunk.

These days my perimenopausal version of “going hard” is:
-magnesium before bed
-hitting my protein and fiber goal
-drinking enough water
-eating dessert under a blanket
-and getting enough sleep so I can go lift heavier tomorrow

It took until I was 36 to finally build routines that were to actually take care of me,
instead of bs to correct or try to fix me.

Cheers to magnesium, muscle, and moo moos,

even though it’d be nice for some new fancy thing to be true, we know losing weight means eating fewer calories…

but using exercise to try to get some of those cals back like we banked ‘em kind of takes the edge off that reality, right?

because we start to think:
“Well, at least I burned some off”
“I earned a little extra”
“I can make up for it with my workout”

that’s what’s screwing with your brain, though.

you’re in a negotiating game,
feeling like a workout wasn’t enough,
and suddenly it all feels tight and restrictive
….eventually your whole day becomes a weird and twisted mental math equation

The women I coach who create a lifestyle, instead of following some plan,
stop needing workouts to justify food,
and holy s**t that feels different.

Dinner is just dinner.
Dessert is always on the table, regardless of exercise.
Movement isn’t penance, but instead it’s a mental, emotional, physical release.

curious,... does it feel easier to eat when you think you’ve earned it?
or have you ever thought about it like that?

Let’s build a lifestyle, not follow a temporary plan, k?

Goal in my kitchen using emojis? 🤯💪🏽🤤

Does it taste f*cking good? Hell, yes.
Does it taste exactly the same as the original? Nope.
Does it take away the craving? Sure does.

Today, I don’t just care about keeping the weight off.
I care about building muscle, staying full,
embracing my sweet tooth, getting ENOUGH nutrients,

and breaking my brain…
Because when it tastes damn good and I also know my body is getting what it needs,
my mind is blown…….in such a funnnnnn way!

If you’re too busy, tired, overwhelmed, or just don’t like spending extra time in the kitchen, OptiPlate is where I share recipes so you don’t have to do the leg work.

Recipes that make you scratch your head because how am I eating THIS and still crushing my body goals?

Comment or DM “RECIPE” if you want to start getting these recipes in your inbox.

What if these “desserts” actually gave you what your body needed so it wasn’t a “start over” every time you ate one?

If you’re stuck in the Day 1, starting over cycle, you probably:
-haven’t found ways to revamp recipes that actually taste good
-still see one choice as making or breaking the day
-eat things that leave you wanting more 20 min later
-are still trying to play by someone else’s food and fitness rules

The diet, the desserts, YOU aren’t an issue.

The fact that you haven’t found what makes you excited to eat and keeps you hitting goals IS the issue.

I specialize in that….recreating recipes that taste damn good, are crave-worthy, that satisfy my palate and my belly, while ALSO helping crush goals.

So I am fully on board with dessert for any and every meal.
In fact I encourage it.

Need some new, tried and true, recipes that are high-protein, high-fiber, high-volume, and low-calorie?

Comment or DM me “RECIPE” and get into my OptiPlate membership where I share them all.

am I the only grown-a$$ woman who still hates touching worms + scaly fish, and finds hooking them gruesome??

Love me some time on the water in the sunshine and mowing down a well-seasoned fish later, tho.

But if these were on the hook, I’d get over myself 👇🏽

🎂 Funfetti Cake
-frosted
-sprinkles
-double-decker
- 1/8th of cake
- 14g protein | 8g fiber | 154 cals

🫐 Blueberry Bread
-two slices
- 13g protein | 0.5g fiber | 71 cals

🍞 Raspberry Bread
-two slices
- 13g protein | 0.5g fiber | 66 cals

Sweets that taste good, have protein + fiber, and aren’t as many calories as a full meal?

The 👀 and comments I get when I’m eating them say soooooo much.
Most women think it looks like too many calories, too big of a portion size, like it’s going to ruin goals.

But it’s what actually helps me and my clients stay consistent.
Not because they are “healthy” 🙄

But because these are about…
No restriction.
Huge portions.
Sweet tooth satisfied.
Cravings quiet.

PLUS the protein, fiber, carbs, and fat midlife, perimenopausal bodies need.

Any recipe I include in my OptiPlate membership checks all of these boxes.
Pretty much my goal is to make our minds go….
“How is it possible I can eat this and still lose weight??”

Comment or DM “RECIPE” if you want recipes like these delivered to your inbox every week.

My turning point wasn’t a diet, a program, a guru’s hack,
or any of the gazillion things I thought it would be in the past.
It was asking for help.

The messy middle (my nice way of staying devastating rock bottom)
isn’t what I’d wish on any woman,
but I wouldn’t trade it either.

It’s what forced me to stop pretending I could figure this all out on my own.

If you’re in that place right now,
your own patterns make you sick,
it might just be your turning point.
This might be the season that builds you like none other has.

What I know now:
The messy middle isn’t something you survive alone.
It’s something your’re supported through.
Because I did the work,
but I also stopped trying to figure it all out by myself.
That’s why i coach the way I do.

90 days.
Private, 1:1.
High-touch.
Strategic.
Human.

Women come to me thinking, “if I could only just lose the x pounds and stick with it.”

What they actually need is:
-structure that fits their real life
-tools that quiet the food noise
-movement that supports their mental health
-perimenopause-informed strategy
-and someone who sees the whole damn picture, because she’s been in that exact spot

I opened a few 1:1 coaching spots for women who are in their own messy middle. And they don’t want a plan, they want a lifestyle.

If that’s you, comment or DM me START and I’ll send the details + application.

With you in the middle,

This is exactly the kind of support I help women actually use…not just have.
Because you don’t have to do this alone….even if it’s messy.

If you’ve been doing this alone because you feel like you need to have it all figured out first,
you don’t.
