💚💛 Though I grew up here in Conway, we moved & I went to Dorman in Spartanburg. I was honored to be elected president of FCA my senior year but was SO excited to be “home” and get to see the vision for Courts for Christ come ALIVE at CHS! Truly blown away!! 🙏🏼

I cried at the gym today!
If you saw my IG live last night you already know… I couldn’t sleep!! lol.

I was hoping to hit 300 # w the regular barbell (not trap) and got 305 #
Big Win!

The tears came after the deadlifts, 80 cal bike, 60 GHDs, 50 DB box steps and 483 burned cal later I was SPENT!
But that’s not why the tears came. I was OVERWHELMED with gratitude bc God didn’t leave me there!

8 years ago I had just had a hysterectomy (Jan ‘18) courtesy of ovarian cancer and they’d his found breast cancer. Just 6 months later, July of ‘18 I had a double mastectomy.

I couldn’t lift myself off the couch and slept in a recliner for an entire year!!
I wasn’t sure I’d survive or live to tell the story. Now today… after busting it at since 2022 and since December, I’ve found the best coaching in both states! The gym-bros all have the same mentality. Show up. Push hard. Support the heck out of your neighbor. Our numbers are all different but we are
StrongerTogether!

is getting a lot of grief tonight. But why is nobody talking about Cordasia Harris grabbing her butt?
There’s a lot that was said, wrongfully, but I’m a Master Certified Mental Performance Coach, own a leading Sport Psychology Firm & I’m not sure I know many athletes who would’ve refrained from a big reaction if someone grabbed them like that.
That’s not heckling or smack talk, that’s sexual assault.

- You can’t apply the brakes and run full speed ahead at the same time.

- You can’t bungee jump while standing on the platform, holding on to the rail.

- You can’t dive off the boat, while sitting on the bow.  

- You can’t run to the altar, while gripping the pew with your feed cemented.

- You can’t be all-in, moving forward, while you’re still holding onto old ways of thinking and doing things.

- There’s a time and a place for planning and strategy, and sometimes, it’s better to just go for it.  Take that first step.  Let go. LEAP.  

Over control will limit you every single time your body, mind and heart are begging to be run.
