Tune in tonight for part 2 of the Meharry Health Summit, Health Integration, Innovation and Racial Justice: Mobilizing for Action will be held from 5-7 p.m. (CST).

In our second panel discussion, we will hear from Congressman James Clyburn (D-S.C.) on the Biden administration’s plans for health equity under the Affordable Care Act. We will also learn from the sister of Stacey Abrams, Dr. Jeanine Abrams McLean, who heads up her Fair Count organization in Altanta, Georgia as she engages in a discussion with Gigi Pedraza of the Latino Community Fund, and Dr. Rueben Warren, of the national Center for Bioethics in Research and Health Care at Tuskegee in a panel moderated by former NBC and MSNBC news anchor John Seigenthaler, on some of the challenges they’ve faced when it comes to the COVID-19 vaccine and how they’ve been able to mobilize their communities for actionable results when it comes to health equity.
