Mattie Brown DPT and Sherrie McClatchy RN were honored at our weekly Team Case Conference on Tuesday for their remarkable dedication to our agency and patients.

Sherrie has been an integral part of Deaconess Home Care for 25 years, witnessing the evolution of healthcare through paper notes, 40 page admissions, bag phones and pagers for on call purposes. Now, as one of our Patient Care Managers, she directs our nurses and therapists on scheduling, doctors orders and assisting patients and their loved ones with their healthcare needs.

Mattie has been an invaluable Fulltime therapist with Deaconess Homecare for 10 years. She delivers exceptional, top notch care to our patients! She’s a shining star and if you need therapy, she’s your girl. After inspiring her patients with therapeutic exercises, she dedicates her time to her three boys, Lewie, Barrett and Caston at ball fields, football fields or rodeo arenas. We often marvel at her boundless energy. She is as devoted to her patients as she is to her boys!

We are truly humbled to call Sherrie and Mattie family and feel blessed to have them on our team. Thank you for all you do and your unwavering commitment to our patients and community.

Robin Stahlman, RN, Clinical Director, Brandyn Wilson, RN, Account Executive, and Jamius Perry, RN, Field Nurse, had the privilege of attending Alcorn State University School of Nursing's Pinning Ceremony today, to join in the celebration of Keydra Brown Warner's remarkable achievements in Nursing. Over the past 7 years, Keydra has been an invaluable asset to the Deaconess Home Care team as an LPN, and with her unyielding drive, perseverance and determination, she recently completed the LPN to RN Associate Degree in Nursing. Today marked a momentous occasion as she received her nursing pin, presented by Dr. Ira Sewell, Program Director. Keydra was also recognized with the prestigious Daisy Award, a heartfelt tribute to her unwavering commitment, dedication, and passion for nursing. Her success is a powerful testament to hard work and determination, and we couldn't be prouder of her accomplishments over the past year. We eagerly anticipate adding her to the RN schedule and celebrating her continued growth and success. Congratulations Keydra!

Yesterday, our Clinical Director, Robin Stahlman, RN and Account Executive, Brandyn Wilson, RN attended the MS Team Leadership meeting in Jackson, MS. All Deaconess Home Care and Mississippi Home Care were in attendance with the theme this year “The Art of Caring”.

Deaconess HomeCare of Natchez received the award for Best Agency of 2023. What an outstanding achievement for our office. From educating referral sources on Home Health services to discharging patient due to goals met, it takes the entire team. Our office staff, nurses and therapists are truly the Best of the Best and it takes each one to perform so we can provide superior care to our patients.

Our very own, Robin Stahlman RN, was chosen Clinical Director of 2023. She exemplifies “The Art of Caring” each day with her competent, professional, kind and loving leadership. Her door is always open and she has created a work environment where everyone feels valued and heard with her communication style and active listening. We are so very blessed to have her as our leader and proud of this amazing accomplishment.

Robin has worked with Deaconess Home care for over 28 years and has worn many different hats from field nurse, Clinical Transition Coordinator, Admissions Nurse, Quality Review to Clinical Director. She is a 1990 graduate of Alcorn State University School of Nursing and is married to Bill Stahlman, together they have 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
