We had a blast celebrating our champions at their Project SEARCH graduation yesterday! Congrats to Darian, Delmaree, Keimon, and Trennis. We are all very proud of you.

Some of our Project SEARCH interns helping out with Merit Health Natchez Jars of Love Peanut Butter Drive. Over 2,400 jars to sort through.

Several of our current and former interns were out in full force at the Brightest Stars Ball last Thursday night. They had a big time! Our instructor and his team of volunteers have been putting on this annual event since 2019.

Our interns had the opportunity to introduce themselves and share a little bit about Project SEARCH to our Adams County Education Committee at their monthly meeting this morning. Each intern did a wonderful job representing our program.

Our Instructor, Ronnie Calhoun, had an opportunity to speak to the Natchez Youth Leadership class of 2025 this morning at Merit Health Natchez. His message was to encourage everyone to be kind, especially to those with disabilities. He encouraged the students to look for opportunities to become more involved in helping others. We are always honored to share what we do at Project SEARCH with our community.

One of our champion interns, Delmaree, is working hard this morning. Only a few more months and all 4 interns will be entering the “real world.” We are very excited for them!

We can’t let today go by without wishing Mrs. Debra Davis a very happy birthday 🎉 ! She does a wonderful job as our Job Skills Trainer. We celebrated yesterday with our favorite, Oreo ice cream cake 🎂 . Big thank you to Mrs. Brenda Brown for getting the cake for our party. Although she doesn’t have an official role in our program, she is a big part of our Project SEARCH family.

We got foam boards to honor our first two graduating Project SEARCH classes and to inspire our current interns. All 6 Project SEARCH Natchez graduates are working and contributing to their teams 💪👏🏆.
