💜 Purple PRIDAY at WRC! 💜

We’re celebrating all things purple as we partnered with some of our friends at Northwestern State University this week!

On Wednesday, the Women’s Resource Center participated in the Public Service Career Expo, connecting with students who have a heart for serving others and sharing how WRC impacts women, babies and families across our community. A special thank you to our NSU Senior Social Work Intern, Jayna Hamilton, who did an incredible job leading our interactive activity at the expo!

We are also grateful for the many NSU students who have been serving with us this month through hands-on service projects in our Children’s Boutique, helping us better serve the families who walk through our doors.

On Thursday, we were honored to welcome Dr. Katrina Jordan from NSU as a special guest speaker for our Mom to Mom class. Her insight and encouragement were such a blessing to the moms in attendance!

Partnerships like these make a lasting difference—and we are thankful to be the hands and feet of Jesus alongside others who are passionate about supporting families.

We are so grateful for the Catholic Student Center for hosting a donation drive to support the families we serve at the Women’s Resource Center!

They are currently collecting:
🍼 Diaper bags
🧴 Travel-size toiletries for Mom & Dad (shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, etc.)
👶 All other baby items are welcome
