Wave PT helps people recover from injury, move better and get back to the activities and sports that they love-but we also love to show up for our community. Yesterday, Wave PT was proud to help sponsor the Redhawk Cup Golf Tournament hosted by . This awesome event raises money to help youth programming in Natick by covering participation fees, upgrading equipment, and improving fields and facilities. Grateful to be part of something that gives back in such a big way!

Can’t wait!! 💥🙌🏻 In less than ONE week I will be leading a workshop at FIERCE Fest 2024!

I will be providing my knowledge and expertise on upper body mobility and injury prevention to many of the incredible FIERCE women that are attending FIERCE Fest 2024.

FIERCE Fest 2024 is a month-long celebration honoring 8 incredible years of FIERCE in Massachusetts which has been created and led by the AMAZING . Hi, Dr. Jaime Martuscello, PT, DPT, CMTPT-DN here! I am the founder and physical therapist at Wave Physical Therapy located in Natick, MA. I have been practicing PT for 20 years and I am passionate about quality patient care and I believe everyone deserves focused 1-on-1 treatment that is safe and natural and gets to the root of their injury. This is what you can expect at Wave PT.

I am a graduate from the University of Vermont with my Masters in Physical Therapy and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions. I have advanced my PT skills in orthopedics with various continuing education course in the US. I am certified in trigger point dry needling which allows me to have the highest level of proficiency in managing patients with myofascial pain. I have extensive knowledge of the human body and sports performance and I believe returning to the activities, workouts and sports you love after an injury is important for overall mental and physical health. I often get asked “What is Dry Needling?” Dry needling is an effective way at getting at trigger points which are taut bands in the muscle that cause pain, limit range of motion, decrease strength and alter biomechanics. To get at the trigger points deep in the muscle, a solid filament needle is inserted in to the skin and muscle directly at the trigger point, which will cause positive biomechanical changes that help to reduce pain and restore function. I also like to say with dry needling it’s like “hitting ctrl+alt+del on the computer”-A reboot to begin to restore the muscles, the motion, the strength. Let’s begin to break the pain cycle together!
