This National Teacher Appreciation Week, we recognize the incredible educators at the SALMON Center for Early Education whose patience, creativity, and care shape every moment of learning. From first discoveries to big milestones, you create a safe and joyful place where children are encouraged to wonder, try, and thrive.

Thank you for the love you bring into the classroom each day and for helping build bright beginnings that last a lifetime.

After one of our resident community events this past week, music started playing…

We began dancing—and one by one, residents joined in. Holding hands. Laughing. Living in the moment.

For a little while, nothing else mattered. No age. No limitations. Just joy. Just connection. Just us.

Our Tapestry Memory Care residents started by painting tulips with Jen, our Memory Care Coordinator, then headed out to a tulip farm to see the real thing in full bloom. Safe to say the inspiration carried right through—and Jen might have loved it just as much as the residents.

We brought the planting indoors and it did not disappoint—lots of laughs, a little mess, and plenty of smiles along the way.

As our country approaches its 250th anniversary, we’re proud to introduce Generations of a Nation a company-wide initiative that reflects the heart of who we are at SALMON.

Rooted in our Do More philosophy, this initiative brings together residents, team members, families, and local communities through three meaningful pillars:

Storytelling
Volunteering
Intergenerational Connection

Across each of our campuses, we’ll be honoring the voices, experiences, and contributions of those who have helped shape the communities we call home while creating new opportunities to connect, serve, and celebrate together.

At SALMON, we believe the strongest communities are built not only through care, but through purpose, connection, and shared legacy.

We’re excited to bring this initiative to life in the months ahead.

We didn’t go to a bowling alley… we brought the bowling to them!

And somehow, it turned into one of those moments you wish you could bottle up.

Kids cheering. Residents laughing. A few “competitive streaks” and a whole lot of connection that doesn’t need words to be felt.
