Tuina Fundamentals: Shanghai Style
Friday–Monday, February 27 – March 2, 2026
with Bill Helm
This four-day, in-person intensive offers a rare opportunity to study foundational Shanghai-style Tuina with Bill Helm, who brings over five decades of immersion in Chinese martial, healing, and Taoist arts. Bill’s teaching reflects not only technical precision, but lived transmission — the kind that can only be conveyed through hands-on practice, presence, and shared clinical inquiry.
Whether you attend a single day or the full training, you will gain practical, immediately applicable skills that can meaningfully elevate the quality, effectiveness, and confidence of your hands-on care. Each day is thoughtfully structured to support integration through clear instruction, demonstration, and extensive supervised practice.
An often-overlooked benefit of this training:
In addition to refining your skills, you will both give and receive treatment throughout the weekend. Many participants leave feeling not only more confident clinically, but physically refreshed, grounded, and inspired — ready to return to practice with renewed clarity and energy.
