🌞 Job Description
👁 Associate optometrist needed for busy Vision Therapy only practice. Great opportunity for the right candidate. Located 30 minutes outside Boston, Massachusetts.
👁 Must have a strong interest in Binocular Vision, Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation. Recent grads welcome, as well as those with more experience - Will train the right candidate. Competitive salary and benefits.
👁 We are seeking an optometrist passionate about improving the lives of their patients, with binocular vision and vision therapy services. Your role will involve:
🌞 Vision Therapy:
👁 Conducting thorough assessments and diagnostics to identify visual deficits and developmental vision issues in patients.
👁 Designing personalized vision therapy programs tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
👁 Guiding and motivating patients through engaging and effective vision therapy sessions.
👁 Tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans to ensure optimal results.
👁 Collaborating with other specialists to create holistic treatment plans.
🌞 Patient Education:
👁 Educating patients and their families about the nature of their visual conditions and the available treatment options (will train you in the system we use).
👁 Empowering patients to take an active role in their visual rehabilitation journey.
👁 Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in vision therapy.
🌞Office:
👁 Our practice focuses on providing binocular vision evaluations and vision therapy for children and adults, ABI and developmental delays. We believe that every individual deserves the best quality of life, including our employees. As an optometrist in our office, you will enjoy working full-time only 4 days per week, no weekends or on-call duties, as well as time to develop meaningful connections with your patients.
🌞 Candidate Requirements:
👁 Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.
👁 Interest or previous experience in Vision Therapy, residency training a plus but not required
👁 Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to create customized treatment plans.
👁 Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills to connect with patients of all ages.
️👁 Collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team.
