Since joining Orangetheory Lawrence in September 2024, Andres has been on a mission to live a more active, balanced life — and he’s doing just that.

Originally from Costa Rica and now studying supply chain management and accounting at KU, he’s juggling workouts, recovery, and academics with heart and hustle. His favorite part of OTF? The community. Because nothing beats the kind of motivation that comes from pushing through a tough block side by side with friends.

Since starting, Andres has gained strength and built muscle, and he's now working toward bouncing back from a knee injury — one step at a time. All with Timber on blast and the Jayhawks in his corner. 🏀

Congratulations to our July Member of the Month, Ashley Hofflin!!

Ashley Hofflin joined OTF Natick in April and is a blast to have join the early morning crew. She brings great energy to every class, always smiling at check-in and ready to dance along to fire playlists (she dances even while running). She is cheering others on with genuine encouragement. Whether she’s crushing a workout or swapping local recommendations for fun things to do around town, Ashley’s positive vibe makes the studio brighter.

Our Story

Orangetheory Fitness is a one-of-a kind fitness experience that combines two concepts: heart rate-monitored based interval training and group personal training. This one-hour workout, was formulated by an exercise physiologist and consists of diverse components including high-energy cardiovascular and strength training using treadmills, rowing machines, suspension training and free weights with short bursts of intense exercise. With the goal of achieving orange zone heart rate work for 12-20 minutes of the 60 minute session, you will continue to burn calories after your work out due to EPOC - excess post-exercise oxygen consumption. EPOC is the scientific term for the ORANGE effect, and this will help you burn more calories long after you’ve left the gym.
