Its going to be a beautiful day for the rain date makeup for the Harrison Township Recreation Board Garden Stroll. TODAY from 12pm to 3pm. See the map below for all the great gardens you can tour!

Due to rain the Harrison Township Recreation Board had to make the difficult decision to cancel the Sunday Garden Stroll last Sunday. However, a rain date was solidified with our fabulous and flexible participants. The new date is SUNDAY JUNE 29th from 12-3 COME RAIN OR SHNE! Please see the updated map and information below as there have some changes. Maps are available for pickup at the Community Library of Allegheny Valley. Keep watching this page for any more updates and for a QR code you can scan and access the map on your phone for the date of event.

***SUNDAY GARDEN STROLL POSTPONED*** Due to weather the Sunday Garden Stroll scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, June 8th has been postponed. The participants are discussing a makeup date that works for all involved. We are sorry for this information and are all saddened that Mother Nature did not cooperate with us! Stay tuned for more details on when the event is rescheduled for.

THIS SUNDAY 6/8 is the first ever Harrison Township Recreation Board Sunday Garden Stroll. We are ready, now we just have to get mother nature to get her act together! Below is the official map and descriptions of all the fabulous gardens we have to showcase. Hard copies of the map are available at The Community Library of Allegheny Valley located on at 1522 Broadview Blvd or at the Harrison Township Municipal Building located at 1 Municipal Drive M-F 8:30am to 4:30pm. Maps will also be available at all of the tour locations the day off! Look for the yard signs to indicate a participating home! Can't wait for you all to come see these beautiful creations!

Thank you to everyone who attended the Touch a Truck event today. It was a great turnout and no one got blown away by the wind, well except that frisbee that now lives on the high school roof!

If you are a resident of Harrison Township and you would be interested in showing off your garden to admirers on Sunday June 8th please let us know! We use the word garden lightly and you could have a fabulous pond, green space, decorative space or relaxing space.
