GMO FACT OF THE DAY: Over 90% of the corn grown in the U.S. is GMO. The GMO corn is primarily used for biofuel (up to 40%), animal feed (up to 40%), and ultraprocessed junk food--think high fructose corn syrup (up to 10%). The rest is exported.
So, are GMOs feeding the world? NOPE. Feeding cars and unhealthy factory farmed animals. Feeding us diabetes and disease. And obviously, feeding Bayer-Monsanto's bottom line.
