We are still dealing with some things and will be for at least another couple weeks. Thank you for all the prayers and support for my wife Sophie.

I’m indebted to Dr Jada Leahy, Dr Karen Kennedy and Baptist Hospital for their compassionate care. Thanks to my own fantastic office staff for their understanding and support.
And most of all, much love for my patients for trusting me with their health, visiting the clinic in tremendous volumes, and keeping our practice thriving- we are open and I’m available for walkins from 9 to 1 today!
Despite the recent hardships, it’s good to be back home. This is where I was meant to be.

I have noticed a disturbing trend lately in healthcare, and that is a tremendous increase in wait times. It affects you when you are waiting forever in the ER or when you are trying to get a call back from a specialist.

My office has addressed this by allowing walk-in visits; no need to wait on hold or for a call back!
We also try to keep as many services under our roof as possible so you don’t encounter waits at other facilities. We now offer in-house ultrasound services as well as specific lab tests. Let me know if your specialist has ordered an ultrasound on you- chances are, we can do it here!

I may not be able to affect your wait time at these impersonal corporate diagnostic centers, but I can certainly help you within these four walls of Holley Navarre Medical Clinic. I want to be your family doctor and to provide the same high level of care that my family doctor provided to me.

We will be closing early this afternoon at 3pm as I take care of a medical emergency in my family. I apologize to our patients whose appointments I had to move around- you are welcome to either come earlier today or to see me tomorrow. I never “call out sick”, so hopefully, you realize this is something very serious. Thank you for your understanding ❤️

The current system of assembly-line care exists because insurances pay us less and less.
Those same insurances also are charging you more and more for healthcare- copays, deductibles and cost shares are going up up up.
