Baby on the way? It's an exciting time, but there's a lot to do to get ready. Here are three ways to support your pregnant partner:
1. Attend appointments and classes with them. Being there shows your support and helps you both feel prepared.
2. Support healthy habits. Eat nutritious meals together and be a smoke-free household.
3. Help with physical discomforts. Offer massages for back pain or help them put their feet up to ease swelling.

We were honored to have St. Joseph Health representatives attend the installation of the sixth Bishop of Austin, the Most Reverend Daniel E. Garcia! A Texas native, Bishop Garcia brings a deep commitment to serving the poor, marginalized, and immigrants. He fondly recalled the Sisters' ministry at St. Joseph and expressed eagerness to collaborate on our healing mission.

As Bishop Garcia shared, "We are called to share the Good News... the greatest impact is by the way we live our lives." We're excited for this new chapter in Austin!

A hit to the head is a serious matter. Here’s what to do after your child experiences a concussion, a type of head injury that causes changes in thinking and functioning.
Get medical care quickly: This is the most crucial step! A doctor can properly diagnose the concussion and rule out any more serious injuries.
Remember, rest is best: The brain needs time to heal after a concussion. Avoid any activities that require physical or mental strength.
Knowing what to do can make a big difference in the recovery process. Keep reading about how to protect young athletes from concussions: https://ow.ly/lsSF50X1EiZ

This Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, we’re combating myths about the condition.
Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men, with 1 in 8 men receiving a diagnosis in their lifetime. The best way to know your risk is to know your family history, talk to your doctor and get screened.
