🗣️Notice to Our Clients📢

Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, South Central Veterinary Services will not have a veterinarian on staff tomorrow, Monday, 9/15, or Tuesday, 9/16.

All previously scheduled surgeries and appointments for these days have been rescheduled, which has pushed our availability further out than usual. We kindly ask for your patience as we work hard to accommodate appointment requests and any emergencies that may arise. While we may not be able to meet every need immediately, please know that we are doing our very best to support you and your pets.

Our staff will still be at the clinic from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on these days to assist with medication refills, scheduling appointments, and other non-veterinary needs.

We also ask that you extend kindness to our staff when calling. They are working diligently under these circumstances and truly care about helping our clients and patients.

Thank you for your understanding, continued support, and trust in SCVS. We value each of you and look forward to returning to normal operations as soon as possible.

🚨🚨 FOUND DOG 🚨🚨

A client picked up this Pit Bull this morning on the north bound feeder road near Mallette Bros BBQ and the hotels over there. Client states he saw the dog get hit on the side of vehicles a few times. The dog is NOT microchipped, Dr. Walla estimated him to be around 5 years or so. He is intact and weighs 62 #. His demeanor appears sweet but has not been directly around other dogs. Despite being hit by a car he is ambulatory, but seems painful. We have given him medication to keep him comfortable. We desperately need to find his owners OR someone who would like to take him in, should no one come forward. The shelter in town was not able to take him in, as they are full.

If this is your pet please call or come by the clinic to reclaim.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Matt Sodek will be joining our team of caring professionals on March 8th. Dr. Sodek is a 2015 graduate with honors from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a mixed animal practitioner proficient in both small and large animal medicine and surgery. We welcome him and his lovely wife Gabby, a teacher in Fayetteville ISD, and their dog Birdie, into our community and family. We are excited to have a doctor of his character and caliber joining us and continue to provide quality care for your animal companions and livestock. Matt Sodek
