If you have lost a baby to pregnancy or infant loss, I want to remember and honor your baby. I will handwrite your baby's name on a paper heart as a sign that they were here... they matterened and still do. These babies are precious and hold space in this world and in our hearts.

Comment their name, nickname, Baby ____, or whatever name you feel connected to them in the comments. I will write that name and upload a photo of your heart.

If you would like to have your heart, that's available this year. Send a message with your baby's name (so I know which heart to send) and your full address. Your heart will be sent your way.

My Story

Welcome to Seeds of Life Birth Services!

I am Chrissy and I am so glad you are here! After having two not so great birth experiences with my first two daughters, I was determined that my third labor was going to be different. I prepared myself with the knowledge and tools to have the labor I wanted. After the birth of my third daughter in April of 2012, I realized that the one key thing missing in my first two labors was SUPPORT.

As my friends around me began having families of their own, I quickly started sharing the things that I had learned. I wanted them to know that feeling empowered and having a positive birth experience was possible! Before long I noticed that anytime I spoke about birth and postpartum I was overcome with a passion that really ignited something inside of me. In March of 2014 I made the decision to start my training, and became a certified labor and postpartum doula with Doula Trainings International. In January of 2017, I welcomed my fourth child, a son, at home with my family. I currently reside in Forks Township with my husband, and our four children.

I firmly believe that women will remember the way they felt the day they gave birth for the rest of their lives… I know that I do! As a doula, I trust women’s bodies and I trust the process of birth. I believe that every woman should feel supported in making the evidence based decisions that are right for her. My goal for all of my clients is to help each family cultivate their own unique birth vision. I support all women, regardless of orientation, gender identity, marital status or family composition.
