The first time I met Jess, we were taking a fitness class at the YMCA together. It was a kickboxing class and Jess was ON FIRE!! 🔥She was really into the moves and serious about getting her cardio on! She was also truly authentic and would every now and then say or do something hysterical that made the entire class smile.

I have gotten to know Jess so much better since that time a few years ago. Now, Jess teaches yoga regularly at the very same YMCA! I have LOVED getting my flow on with Jess on Saturday mornings.

I can remember when Jess came to her first illumination circle. She brought a friend along, and she seemed a little tentative. She wasn’t quite sure what these ✨illumination circles ✨were all about, but she knew she felt the call to join.

And since that time, Jess has been one of our brightest lights, shining her love and encouragement at every circle she attends.

She is also an entrepreneur and member of the Inner Circle 💫 at Visionistas! Jess owns Blemish To Balance where she provides amazing esthetician services to help us not only FEEL but LOOK our BEST!! 🥰

If you’ve ever had the fortune of connecting with Jess, then you already know - she is spunky, real, and full of love. (Jess also gives AMAZING hugs! I get one every time I see her, sometimes two!)

Jess is one of those women who gets it. She has been through the trenches and she has this amazing loving energy that keeps moving her forward and upward. And she has BIG dreams!! 🌙🌟I am so excited I get to see her make them come true!!

Jess has been an inspiration to me and so many other women who have attended our circles, her Saturday morning yoga classes, and her sexy girl yoga events!

my soul is patient
Episode 174 is here and you will 🔥 it!!

I’m not a patient person.
That’s my old story. And, I’m changing it. (work in progress!!)

Our *stories* are created from lots of different pieces of a giant puzzle, some of them include our thoughts, emotions, beliefs, life experiences, culture, family values, personality, environment, traits…. The list is basically endless.

Sometimes we don’t even realize just how unhealthy our stories are. Increasing our self-awareness and truly getting aligned with our authentic selves, at the soul level, is key.

When we feel out of sorts, stressed, in a frenzy - it’s usually a battle happening between our ego and our soul. Our ego is there to protect us, to keep us safe (for the most part).

My ego learned, somewhere along the way, that rushing and being impatient was the best for me. My soul, on the other hand, thankfully has a better idea!

We learn and we grow, and I’m inviting that energy for your soul today as well. On this week’s episode of the Empowered By Design Podcast, you get to hear how you can change an *old story* that no longer serves you into a new, empowering story.

Your old story once kept you safe, made you feel useful, and/or helped you please the people around you. BUT, it’s time to take a look and a listen to know what your soul is showing you.

You can change your old story! In this episode, we explore the various layers of awareness - body, mind, heart, soul, and spirit - and discuss how to actively change old stories that no longer serve us.

When we make the effort to tune in, connect with ourselves on a spiritual level, and increase our self-awareness, we can remove blocks that are standing in the way of achieving our goals and dreams.

During the episode, I also pull a card from my soul care deck and make meaning of it with you!

The message of Mars energy emphasizes confidence and action in line with our values, passion, and vision. Let’s embrace our inner fire while also recognizing the value of being present and trusting in divine timing.
