April is not only a time to recognize Occupational Therapy Month, but also Stress Awareness Month .
Stress awareness month is a reminder of how deeply stress can impact our daily lives.
Stress doesn’t always look the way we expect. It can show up physically through poor posture, neck and shoulder tension, frequent headaches, and overall fatigue. Over time, these symptoms can affect how we move, work, and feel.
The good news is that small, intentional movements can make a meaningful difference. Gentle stretching, posture correction, and targeted exercises can help release built-up tension and support both physical and mental well-being.
If you’ve been noticing these symptoms, it may be time to take a closer look at how stress is affecting your body.
