Dear Peak to Peak Animal Hospital Clients and Friends,
As some of you may know, I am a Nederland HS graduate where I played football. In my senior year, many years ago, my coach called me God’s gift to Nederland. After reflecting on my 39 years at Peak to Peak Animal Hospital, it has become clear to me that Nederland has been my gift from God. I have been fortunate to get to know so many compassionate and kind clients and their pets. At this time in my career, I have decided to fully retire from veterinary medicine and assume my new career as a grandfather.
As I value each of you as clients, I don’t take lightly the decision of who will take over the reins of Peak to Peak. I am excited to introduce Dr. Nate Siegel and Dr. Cory Meirs, who will now have the privilege to care for you and your beloved pets. I am confident that they are a great fit for the Nederland Community and will provide you with the finest and most efficient care for your pets as well as exceptional customer service. They are bringing a great deal of expertise and experience as well as a practical approach to caring for your furry family. I am happy to announce that Aly Schrader, who is a familiar face to all and the backbone of Peak to Peak, will stay on to ensure an easy transition.
Nate and Cory are fully committed to providing full veterinary services to Nederland. They will also be taking over Nederland Veterinary Hospital and merging the two hospitals. The clinic will be located in the current Nederland Veterinary Hospital building, 646 Highway 119 (junction of Highway 119 and Eldora turn off) and will keep the name of Nederland Veterinary Hospital. Be assured that your pets medical records from Peak to Peak Animal Hospital will be transferred to Nederland Veterinary.
Nate and Cory will be hosting an open house to meet clients and I encourage you all to stop by and get to know them. My last day in Nederland will be April 10th, 2024. I apologize for such short notice, a confidentiality agreement in the merger prevented me from sharing this information any sooner. I would have liked to have said good-bye in person.
Thank you to all of you who gave a new graduate a chance four decades ago and for supporting me over the years. It has been my pleasure.
Mike Clements, D.V.M
