Many large group practices prioritize keeping their business in house, despite the fact that they don’t have enough clinicians to meet the demand for services.
They get other therapists in their practices fixated on the idea that they’re in competition with folks outside of their agency rather than prioritizing the needs of individuals seeking services.
Instead of making strategic partnerships, they try to poach therapists from their practices or take advantage of the fears of unlicensed/early career folx in order to create a false sense of security while paying them significantly below their negotiated rates.
Once they’ve successfully done that, they hold you to significant bureaucratic demands that eventually lead to burnout.
In my Rooted Justice Private Practice coaching program, Liberation Financials is where I teach clinicians to negotiate these conversations so that they go in their favor without sacrificing their businesses to the lure of false security.
You are not in competition with anyone.
There is enough to go around.
If you’re a BIPOC/PGM clinician looking to build a practice where you know your financial security is of your own making, DM or comment Private Practice. I look forward to scheduling a call with you.
