I used to think affirmations were stupid.

Then I realized my brain was listening anyway.
What you tell yourself matters.

Repetition turns into belief.
So talk to yourself like someone you love.

We put an affirmation on every page.

Some moments in life mark a new chapter.

Not because everything suddenly becomes easier. But because you finally decide
to carry your story differently.

This tattoo is not just ink.

It serves as a reminder of everything she has survived, the strength she has built along the way, and the promise she made to herself to keep moving forward.

Some scars are given to us.
Some we choose to turn into something meaningful

And sometimes the people
who help bring those moments to life
become part of the story too.

Clarity doesn’t cancel feelings.

It’s possible to miss someone and still realize you deserve better.

Two things can be true at once.

Social media shows the highlight reel.

It doesn’t show
the doubt, fear,
or the days you question everything.

It doesn’t show
the healing happening quietly
behind the scenes.

We’re sharing this on International Women’s Day because we believe you don’t have to hide the hard parts to be worthy, successful, or put together.

Confidence can exist alongside anxiety.
Joy can live next to healing.
And vulnerability is not weakness,
it’s courage in its rawest form.

Today, we honor the women
who showed us what was possible.

The women who spoke up first.
The women who supported us
when we didn’t feel strong.
The women who tell the truth.
The women who choose to keep going.
And the women who remind others
they don’t have to do it alone.

You don’t have to hide the hard parts
to be worthy.
You don’t have to be perfect
to be powerful.

You just have to be real.

🤍 Share with a woman who needs the reminder.
🤍 Tag a woman who has supported you.

Your body always keeps score.

The hard questions are where healing starts.

Drink spiking is real.

It is underreported, and it changes you.

Many survivors stay silent because:
-They are dismissed.
-Their stories are questioned.
-They blame themselves.
-They can’t remember enough to “prove” it.

I did not speak about this publicly for a year.
-Because I questioned myself.
-Because I was questioned about my choices.
-Because I wondered if people would minimize it.
-Because I did not have all the details.
-Because part of me just wanted to forget it ever happened.

Here is what you can do:
-Use a drink cover
-Carry a test kit
-Wear safety technology like
-Go out with a plan. Leave together. Check in.
-If something feels off, trust it immediately.
-Get a healthcare proxy for your college-aged child at . In emergencies, it matters. Enter ChasingRedFlags20 at checkout for a 20% discount!

If you are a survivor of drink-spiking
You are not dramatic.
You are not crazy.
You are not alone.

We are working to change legislation and hospital testing protocols because awareness without action is NOT enough.

Massachusetts Bill S1537 is now awaiting a decision to move forward to the Senate Ways and Means Committee. This next step is critical.

If you live in Massachusetts, please email John.lawn@mahouse.gov or Cindy.friedman@masenate.gov to share your story, or to support of this bill.

Silence protects the wrong people.

I didn’t choose this story.
But I can choose what I do with it.

She changed…

No, she learned.
She grew.
She set boundaries.
She stopped settling.
She healed.
She got real.

🖤Comment REAL if you’re choosing growth too.
